I am originally from the Bay Area, but have been living and drawing
in LA for 12 years. I received a BFA in animation from Cal Arts. My first
job was as a background artist on Futurama and since then have been storyboarding
and designing for animated commercials and features.
Because I freelance, I work on a lot of interesting projects in
many different styles. Some my favorite are the multimedia commercials I design
for companies like "Stardust"
or the big projects like Tim Burton's "9"
. Both are exciting because of the free exchange of ideas between the artists
on the crew.
